December 2024 - Dalian Yuda Thin Coal Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced a major breakthrough with its MG300-700-BWD ultra-thin seam bridge shearer in the Yan'an Coal Mine 0.6m ultra-thin seam unmanned mining project. The project successfully achieved monthly output over 60,000 tons, zero safety incidents, 44.44% maintenance efficiency improvement, and 12 consecutive months of fault-free operation.

The Yan'an mining area has a minimum seam thickness of only 0.6m, where traditional shearers cannot enter, creating extremely limited space and high safety risks. Dalian Yuda's R&D team customized the MG300-700-BWD ultra-thin seam bridge shearer for this project, equipped with millimeter-level encoder positioning and remote automated control system, successfully achieving unmanned mining and thoroughly solving the space limitation and safety risk issues.

In addition to unmanned mining capability, the equipment also possesses f8 hardness rock adaptability. The Yan'an mining area has complex coal rock structure containing large amounts of f8 hardness hard gangue. The customer's previous equipment suffered frequent cutting tooth breakage and gearbox damage when encountering high-hardness coal rock, resulting in high maintenance costs. Dalian Yuda employed military-grade cutting unit with double spiral drum, providing ultra-strong cutting capability specifically designed for f8 hardness coal rock with stable operation in high-hardness conditions.
